doesnt believe it cost rm97m kota darul ehsan repainting works

The allocation of RM9.7 million for the renovation of Kota Darul Ehsan is wasteful and is better off spent on measures to increase the number of entrepreneurs and education.
That's the advice from Malaysian Youth Solidarity leader, Badrul Hisham Shahrin or better known as CheguBard to Selangor Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
"RM9.7 million for renovation and painting works on Kota Darul Ehsan gate. Is the gate crumbling down? No. When a journalist asked Azmin, he replied with such haughtiness and arrogance that it is not a problem, as everything has been approved in the Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN). I want to say, GST was also approved in the Dewan Rakyat, but is it right?"

He claimed that the state government allocation for the sad purpose is too huge for minor renovation works.
I want to say, GST was also approved in the Dewan Rakyat, but is it right?" he asked at a press conference here today.
CheguBard who has been suspended from PKR, alleged that several PKR leaders tried to stop him from giving a press conference on the matter.
"They said the project was approved when Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim was at the helm. More preposterously, they dragged the name of the sultan, claiming it is at the request of the Sultan of Selangor," he said.
Approval of the project was not a wise act, and it will provide more resources to the opposition in Selangor.
Apart from that, CheguBard also probed on Mohamed Azmin’s failure to explain the issue of zakat distribution through party channels as stated in the police report made on September 10.
He also alleged, the Chief Minister is causing bad reputation to the opposition coalition on the issue of Darul Ehsan Investment Group (DEIG).
Azmin’s justified that DEIG is not yet operational. However, an UMNO representative has exposed that DEIG has obtained loans. It is indeed shameful to the opposition coalition.
"It (DEIG) is worse than 1MDB, thanks to friends from DAP, PAN and PKR who had voiced out in DUN to dispute the matter," he said.
